Walt Disney Studios have confirmed a May 1st 2015 release date for the sequel of this year's biggest box-office success and the third highest grossing film of all time - Marvel's The Avengers . As announced previously, Joss Whedon will return to write and direct the film which caps off Marvel's second "round" of films - Iron Man 3 on May 3rd, 2013; Thor: The Dark World  on November 8th 2013; Captain America: The Winter Soldier on April 4th, 2014; and Guardians of the Galaxy  on somewhere in 2014 (???). It's nice to see writting and directing the second movie of The Avengers ... The movie is in safe hands, I believe! Just hope Guardians of the Galaxy won't be a mess and that it won't hurt The Avengers 2 quality... It seems that some people were blessed with a secret premiere screening of Paul Thomas Anderson 's upcoming The Master , starring Joaquin Phoenix , Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams , and the first reactions seem pretty enthusiastic (I'm not including some tweets that were found).  “ Don’t want to say more than a few words about it but it is an all around excellent film.
