SAG Awards toke place some couple of hours ago and we already know the winners. There are no big surprises, there are only a few worries if you like The Social Network better than The King's Speech. Here's the list of the SAG Award winners of the movie categories:
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role
Colin Firth for The King's Speech
Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role
Natalie Portman for Black Swan
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role
Christian Bale for The Fighter
Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role
Melissa Leo for The Fighter
Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture
The King's Speech
Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture
Inception
Well, I think that who's supporting The Social Network victory in the Oscar ceremony is having a big problem with the win of The King's Speech in the Outstanding Acting Ensemble category, specially after Tom Hooper win in the DGA Awards.
Colin Firth, Natalie Portman and Christian Bale will win the Oscars they are nominated for, but I've a feeling that Haillee Steinfeld may steal Melissa Leo's Academy Award (she may be the new Anna Paquin), but Leo continues in the lead of the Best Supporting Actress race.
