MOVIE TRAILER: "Django Unchained"

Director: Quentin Tarantino Starring: Jamie Foxx , Christoph Waltz , Don Johnson , Leonardo DiCaprio , Samuel L. Jackson , Kerry Washington and Jonah Hill Writers: Quentin Tarantino USA release date: 25 December , 2012 " With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner. " COMMENT: Looks like... a QuentinTarantino movie! It is the first time this director works without his all-time editor (R.I.P.), but the movie editing keeps Tarantino-looking. The major problem of this seems to be Jamie Foxx , not because of his acting talent, but because his part was meant to be for Will Smith and we can feel that (and let's be honest and admit Smith is much more charismatic figure than Mr. Foxx). Leonardo DiCaprio is the scene-stealer of the trailer and he looks like he's having a great time playing his character (who seems to have a comedy touch!). The whole plot seems interestin

MOVIE TRAILER: "The Great Gatsby"

Director: Baz Luhrmann Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio , Carey Mulligan , Tobey Maguire , Joel Edgerton and Isla Fisher Writers: Baz Luhrmann &  Craig Pearce (screenplay); F. Scott Fitzgerald (novel) USA release date: 25 December , 2012 " Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. He is drawn into Gatsby's circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy. " COMMENT: To be completely honest, I don't know what to think about The Great Gatsby ... It looks like it could be a more glamorous version of Baz Lhurmann 's Moulin Rouge! mixed with a more mature and intriguing Romeo + Juliet , but, at the same time, it looks like it could be a mess (and having this kind of movie in 3D may be completely unnecessary). Maybe the messy trailer scenes are just a rare case in the whole movie and I can't forget how memorable the messy cab

MOVIE TRAILER: "Les Misérables"

Director: Tom Hooper Starring: Hugh Jackman , Russell Crowe , Anne Hathaway , Amanda Seyfried , Eddie Redmayne , Samantha Barks , Helena Bonham Carter and Sasha Baron Cohen Writers: William Nicholson (screenplay); Claude-Michel Schönberg & Alain Boublil (book); Victor Hugo (novel) USA release date: 14 December, 2012 " An adaptation of the successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo's classic novel set in 19th-century France, in which a paroled prisoner named Jean Valjean seeks redemption. "   COMMENT: Better than anything I was expecting! Anne Hathaway 's emotions in " I Dreamed a Dream " sound so truthful... and the movie looks so honest, when comparing to other movie musicals. Can't wait to December! Maybe it's too early to say "Congratulations, Mr. Tom Hooper ", but the trailer itself deserves an award! Bravo!
