" COMMENT: Looks like... a QuentinTarantino movie! It is the first time this director works without his all-time editor (R.I.P.), but the movie editing keeps Tarantino-looking. The major problem of this seems to be Jamie Foxx , not because of his acting talent, but because his part was meant to be for Will Smith and we can feel that (and let's be honest and admit Smith is much more charismatic figure than Mr. Foxx). He is drawn into Gatsby's circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy. " COMMENT: To be completely honest, I don't know what to think about The Great Gatsby ... It looks like it could be a more glamorous version of Baz Lhurmann 's Moulin Rouge! mixed with a more mature and intriguing Romeo + Juliet , but, at the same time, it looks like it could be a mess (and having this kind of movie in 3D may be completely unnecessary). "   COMMENT: Better than anything I was expecting! Anne Hathaway 's emotions in " I Dreamed a Dream " sound so truthful... and the movie looks so honest, when comparing to other movie musicals. Can't wait to December! Maybe it's too early to say "Congratulations, Mr. Tom Hooper ", but the trailer itself deserves an award! Bravo!
