REVIEW: "Avengers: Endgame"

Genre: Sci-Fi; Fantasy; Action / Adventure; Drama. Directed by: Anthony Russo & Joe Russo Written by: Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely Starring: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tessa Thompson and Zoe Saldana In theaters: April 26, 2019 (wide) A spectacle of a movie! Avengers: Endgame starts as a slow burning post-apocalyptic tale of loneliness and despair and then turns into a journey of hope, jokes and some of the most memorable moments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.   After Infinity War , the Avengers try to deal with loss and failure, but there's something that  doesn't let them go on... and I can't tell you much more or I'll be accused of spoiling everything. Early Academy Awards 2020 Nominees Predictions: Visual & Sound Categories

Maybe the hardest categories to predict this early, but we can't deny there are some "kind of films" that usually break the visual and sound technical categories. And let's not forget most times Best Editing doesn't honour the best editing work of the year, but some of the AMPAS favorite Best Picture nominees! Have a look at my early predictions for visual and sound categories: BEST EDITING 1.  Ford v. Ferrari , Michael McCusker 2.  1917 , Lee Smith 3. The Irishman , Thelma Schoonmaker 4. The Report , Greg O'Bryant 5. Harriet , Wyatt Smith 6. Fair and Balanced , Jon Poll 7. Jojo Rabbit , Tom Eagles 8. Us , Nicholas Monsour 9. Last Black Man in San Francisco , David Marks 10. The Good Liar , Virginia Katz BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY...

3 SHORT REVIEWS: "Triple Frontier", "Gloria Bell" and "Us"

TRIPLE FRONTIER Genre: Action; Drama. Directed by: J. C. Chandor Screenplay by: Mark Boal & J. C. Chandor Starring: Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal Triple Frontier starts slowly, building its plot based on a solid premise and presenting us some interesting characters and their backgrounds. But what starts as a subtle study of five characters who are presented as "good", then you discover their darkest ambitions and their greed.    Ben Affleck emerges as the leading man (and he's good!) , but the movie truly belongs to Oscar Isaac and Charlie Hunnam, less famous actors, but far more intriguing acting performers than Affleck. Garrett Hedlund is testosterone-driven at his best and Pascal doesn't really have much to do, but he does his best quietly and nicely.    Memorable sequences in a mob boss' house, an unexpected plot twist and great work from the sound department, Triple Frontier isn't as ...
