Oscar 2011 batles - who will win the war of the awards race: PART I

The most wanted prize will be given to The King's Speech or The Social Network, and there are no doubts about it! While "The Facebook movie" had an extremely brilliant beggining in the awards race, being named the best movie of the year by most of the critics' organizations and winning the Golden Globe of Best Motion Picture - Drama, The King's Speech toke the lead in the Oscar race in the last weeks by winning the Producers Guild Award of Best Theatrical Motion Picture, the Director Guild of America Award of Best Director for Tom Hooper and the SAG Award of Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture, beating the David Fincher's drama in some of the most important "before Oscars" awards.
Who do you think that will win the Oscar? A movie about the biggest social network of the world with an important message to our society or a British motion picture that tells us the story of a king with some speech problems during World War II? It's a kind of the Queen Vs the Facebook...

P.S.: Toy Story 3 may have a word to say about the Best Picture race, a kind of "Remember, I can be your best chance to honour an animated motion picture!".

TOP 10 Most Promising Movie Actors (under 30)

Today I discussed about how awful some "teen icons" are and then we talked about some exceptions. So, I decided to make a little list, a TOP 10, with the male actors that I think that will become music in an ocean of noise somewhere in the future (I did one list before, but it was a little bit pathetic and I didn't justify my choices). Academy Awards 2026 nominees predictions: Best Picture, acting categories, screenplays and Best Director (1st ROUND, updated)

BEST PICTURE BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE Leonardo DiCaprio  is a true movie star and the enthusiastic reception of Paul Thomas Anderson is earning him a ton of rave reviews while the movie seems to be a pretty solid contender in virtually every category at the Oscars.  Timothée Chalamet seems to have landed the a charismatic movie star role in MARTY SUPREME while  Danial Day-Lewis  is acting (and Oscar royalty) and he looks marvelous in ANEMONE trailer.  Jeremy Allen White is fresh from THE BEAR TV series glory and his performance as Bruce Springsteen has already earned him raves (and the AMPAS can't resist a musician's biopic).
