COMMENT: I must admit that I never expected Ang Lee's Life of Pi to look this amazing... I must say it is my "opinion-changing-movie-trailer" of the year. Lee is back after some years of absence and this trailer just gives us beautiful footage of Life of Pi, having completely visually stunning parts. I believe this one will rock and since people love the novel so much, it will probably have a nice box-office performance. Oscar buzz was always strong around this one, but now I understand why and I see this one as a major contender in the main categories. Ang Lee never made a bad movie (Taking Woodstock may be seen as the "less good" one in a body of work that includes Sense & Sensibility, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Brokeback Mountain), but Life of Pi just looks like a masterpiece, let's hope it is as fantastic as it promises to be.
