The 68th edition of Venice Film Festival revealed its winners. While Faust was a big surprise for the Golden Lion, specially when it was expected that Steve McQueen's Shame or Aps would take the top prize home. Special mention to Michael Fassbender Volpi Cup of Best Actor win for his raved performance as a sex-addicted New York man in Shame, which put him in the frontline of the Best Leading Actor Oscar race, which proves that if he gets an Academy Award nomination this year, it will be for Shame and not for A Dangerous Method, like most people expected before Venice and like some people keep expecting after Venice.
