"Carnage" movie trailer; "Machine Gun Preacher" movie trailer;

  • Roman Polanski's Carnage got a movie trailer and let me say it looks awesome to me! The plot takes place in a flat and it reunites two couples who are discussing about their children and... well, I think they talk about everything! Let me say that Jodie Foster (The Silence of the Lambs) seems terrific, Kate Winslet (The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind) looks like an outstanding scene-stealer, Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds) looks a bit like the Devil and John C. Reilly (Chicago) seems more than holding himself alongside its Academy Award winners co-stars. Hope Carnage puts Foster's career back on track. Carnage will release in this year's edition of Venice Film Festival. Here's the movie trailer:


  • While Machine Gun Preacher looks like a Jason Statham's action movie title, the reality is that, behind a bad movie title, there's a true story, Marc Foster (the director of Monster's Ball and Finding Neverland), Gerard Butler (who seems to be trying to get some respect from the cinema industry and there's nothing wrong with it) and a good movie trailer that makes us see this movie as a kind of Blood Diamond with more emotional depht than a terribly lame Beyond Borders. TOP 10 Most Promising Movie Actors (under 30)

Today I discussed about how awful some "teen icons" are and then we talked about some exceptions. So, I decided to make a little list, a TOP 10, with the male actors that I think that will become music in an ocean of noise somewhere in the future (I did one list before, but it was a little bit pathetic and I didn't justify my choices). Academy Awards 2026 nominees predictions: Best Picture, acting categories, screenplays and Best Director (1st ROUND, updated)

BEST PICTURE BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE Leonardo DiCaprio  is a true movie star and the enthusiastic reception of Paul Thomas Anderson is earning him a ton of rave reviews while the movie seems to be a pretty solid contender in virtually every category at the Oscars.  Timothée Chalamet seems to have landed the a charismatic movie star role in MARTY SUPREME while  Danial Day-Lewis  is acting (and Oscar royalty) and he looks marvelous in ANEMONE trailer.  Jeremy Allen White is fresh from THE BEAR TV series glory and his performance as Bruce Springsteen has already earned him raves (and the AMPAS can't resist a musician's biopic).
